Happy Birthday to my lovely wife Yesi!

(Final Picture)

**disclaimer** This is Andy, Yesi's husband, writing this post.

I wanted to create a quick blog post about my lovely wife and how we created this fun birthday picture. So here we goooooooo!

So to start off we wanted a very clean look so we set everything up on a white wall in our kitchen.

We used two lights to accomplish this look. One giant soft box and one single Home Depot metal lamp. The soft box covers a large area creating a very even distribution of light. It's not very harsh which is good for the exposure of the photo. Behind her is the Home Depot light. This light is to give her a halo like effect over her right shoulder.

We snapped a few test shots, but didn't quite like the look yet.

So we added a white pillow case on the table covered with a piece of large glass from a picture frame. It gave it a very clean look which helped the over all idea of the photo.

Next we felt like it would be nice to showcase the awesome cupcake. We snapped some shots of the cupcake alone and brought them into Photoshop put the cupcake on top of the photo we chose of her. Which resulted in this next photo.

So once we reached this point we were ready to give the photo a fun edit and Shazaam!!! The final picture is ready!!!

Photo Adventure: My Bike

I found this Alice&Olivia bike at Target almost a year ago. It was love at first sight! From the floral print, to the basket, and the bell, I couldn't help but want it. Of course $300 was out of my budget for a bike. After a while, I lost hope. I didn't see the bike at Target anymore. Someone had purchased it.
One afternoon, I decided to roam around target.com and see their deals. Their Neiman Marcus Line was on sale finally! I quickly searched bikes and there it was! for $150 including free shipping. SOLD!
I had been wanting to take it out for a photo shoot since I got it. Andy finally agreed, and this day was perfect.
I decided to wear my "Lauren Conrad" blue bike dress with a peter pan collared shirt underneath.
Of course, you can still find the bike on EBAY for $400!

Enjoy!

Outfit Post: ModCloth

I love ModCloth! Since I'm a blogger on a budget, I took advantage of their 70% off sale and got 4 things for $50!! Among those items was this dress I had been "eye-ing" for a while!

Besides the great quality, I love the bright mustard color!

The shoes are from Marshall's on sale for $20
and if you're wondering where the suitcases are from...found them at TJMaxx! I use them as decor around the house, but also use them to take some things from my house to my in-laws. Love them!

Photo Adventure: Disney World

A couple of weekends ago we decided to drive up to Orlando and visit Disney. Andy hadn't been to Magic Kingdom since he was a baby...so i was really excited about showing him all the "magic" Disney has to offer. We celebrated my little cousin Kiana's birthday, which landed exactly on the day we went. What a magical birthday. This trip was the beginning to my #31daysofcelebration (meaning 31 days till my actual birthday) We had a blast! Here's some of the pictures we captured!

One of my favorite parts about Magic Kingdom is the man selling a multitude of balloons. Idk why! It just always captured my eyes. (you will see them again later on)
