Photography Adventure

I've been MIA this week because our Annual Fashion Show for CHC is coming up in less than a month. We decided to highlight one of our individuals at the show, so I am making her intro video. This is my first video using Final Cut, and I absolutely love it.
Here's the last of the photos that we took on our thrifting adventure. Sorry it took me so long!

Style Board: Tribal Print

{Hello}
Once again I am wearing the cute peach blazer I found at TJMAXX for $15.99. I paired it with a tribal print skirt & peter pan blouse that I bought at Forever21 over two years ago. The blazer happens to match the skirt perfectly! Tribal print has gotten more and more popular lately. You see it in skirts, shirts, scarves, and nails. Here are some inspiration from seventeen.com:

You can definitely go to any local store and find some kind of tribal print inspired article of clothing.

Here's how i styled my tribal print skirt with my favorite peach blazer!

At the end you will find a  "style board". These are just some items i found on the web that are similar to the outfit I am wearing!

Enjoy!

Of course I had to include Hottie Hubby!

This one is a little bit more dressy than the one I am wearing, but still love it! Let me know if you find any more tribal print items you love, I would love to see them!

The Fair

    The Fair

For the past few years, Andy and I have made "The Fair" a yearly date ritual. We've come to the conclusion that neither one of us thinks the rides are very safe, so we've given up on spending money on the rides. But we quickly picked up a new love for the fair, besides the greasy yummy food, we really enjoy watching the shows at the fair. This year there was one show that made me wonder why they were only performing at the fair, and not somewhere better and bigger

It was a beautiful day! Except when the temperature dropped to the 40's and i was wearing shorts...Luckily i had sock to warm me up. Ha ha.

This year we decided to eat a corn dog, french fries, arepa, elephant ear, and tons of diet coke. We had a blast and can't wait till next year.

Small tip for next year: If you live in MIAMI-DADE, log on to the fair website and using the code FIU2014 (next year) you get entrance tickets for half off. Must be printed before hand.

Here are some pic we took at the fair. Enjoy
