Photography Post: Summer
I have a love hate relationship with Miami weather.
There's days that I absolutely like the hot sunny days.
Then there are days that are so hot you want to die.
It also rains ALMOST every day in the afternoon.
So when you have a shoot planned for a specific time, and it rains cats and dogs, you get a bit frustrated.
But then Miami sky has a way of clearing up so quickly, you can be outside 20 minutes after a huge storm.
You see? Love/Hate/Love/Hate.
This is exactly what happened on the Sunday afternoon that Hannah and I decided to go shooting.
Hurricane wind speeds, lighting, rain, and thunder ruined our spirits as our shooting time came.
But I knew I didn't want give up on the day.
So nearly 45 minutes before sundown, Miami decided to change it's mood, and allowed the sun to come out and play with Hannah and I.
And here are the images that I captured on this very hot, humid, rainy, summer day.
You can see more on my flickr page.
How pretty does Hannah look? AMAZING
Enjoy.

Fourth of July 2014 Outfit
Last fourth of July, we spent the fireworks hiding out under bleachers from a terrible storm. Instead of seeing and hearing fireworks, we heard thunder, and shivered at the sight of lightning.
This year, we decided to change the location, and rent a one night stay in a hotel in South Beach.
Very random, very spontaneous, definitely not something we are used to doing.
My outfit for this fourth of July is very simple.
This was last year's outfit:
When I saw this skirt and top on sale at aeropostale I knew it would be the best outfit for the holiday.
I topped it off with a red tie to complete the outfit.
Skirt: $7.99 Crop Top: $7.99 Hair Tie $5
My kind of outfit.

Happy First Day of Summer!
Here's how I welcomed summer in Miami...with a refreshing coke, a camera, and some rain boots.
You gotta love Miami weather.
Luckily, we get summer all year round.

Photography Post: Noah Wong
Just a FEW of my favorites from the new born session with Natalia, Rafael, and Noah.
What's so special about this photo session, is that I got to capture sweet moments between my sister, my brother in-law and their first son (my first nephew).
I am absolutely in love with him, so you can imagine how they feel.

Photography Post: Water
A couple of weeks ago, Andy and I decided to be a little bit crazy and try a water photo shoot.
This was an idea Andy had had for a while.
It took a day of prep (buying all materials)
and half a day to capture it all.
We tried a day time & night time, and automatically fell in love with the daytime photos, so we kept those.
Here are our top pictures :)

Photography Post: Chris + Lauren_ Secret Proposal
Secret proposals are so fun to capture because they are unpredictable!
Andy and I captured Chris proposing to Lauren in Matheson Hammocks earlier this week, and although Chris had everything prepared with pictures and X's where we could hide, Andy and I were unsure about which bench he had marked with an X! haha so we had a few laughs.
We both hid the best we could and tried to blend in with the crowd.
Congrats Christ and Lauren!
